The old adage “Garbage In, Garbage Out” applies to Financial Systems at the most basic level: if you don’t enter your information in right, there’s no point in looking at your reports. Sure, you can do the bare minimum to get your BAS completed, but is that how you do what drives you?

Take the time to learn how to enter it right the first time, and you’ll be able to leverage that time a hundred-fold by reports that inform both macro and micro Management Decision-Making. It’s the little things like this that set apart businesses that Rise from those that don’t.

Plus, when a task is a necessary but 80% task, you don’t want to spend more of your 20% time on it than necessary. The most primary way of ensuring that is to make sure it is done once and only once. When it comes to your financial record keeping, the goal is to touch that paper once (80%), but in such a way as to make that information infinitely useful (20%): government grant application? done. budgets? done. bank loans? done. QA audit? done.

A note on Training lengths: the human brain can only take on so much new information before it needs to regulate what it’s learned. Whole Day Trainings are available, but Half Day Trainings are recommended - just schedule 2 Half Day Trainings instead of 1 Whole Day! The most common schedule is 2 Half Day Trainings a few days apart, then additional Half Day Trainings at intervals (like BAS periods) to cover off on any questions you’ve accumulated or to review how you’ve been doing - fully individualised and supportive training when/as YOU want it.
